HadronPhysics3 is the continuation of the successful HadronPhysics and HadronPhysics2 European Programmes within FP6 and FP7, which pioneered these type of research at European level starting with 2004. HadronPhysics3 is deepening, sharpening and broadening the hadron physics understanding, bringing it towards new fronteers, with implications going from particle and nuclear physics to astrophysics and providing applications for many societal needs.

The HadronPhysics3 project is supported by the European Union
under the 7th Framework Capacities Programme in the area of Research Infrastructures (RI).
